This is my best friend. She left for college this weekend and I miss her! My photographic guinea pig and model is gone, and now my dog is starting to be photographed too much. She should move back now. 

50mm 1.4

I HAVE LOST IT. 

I was drooling over a photographer's website (Sam Hurd... check him out) and I realized that I had never tried my Nikon film lenses on my digital camera. Who knows why. So I now have a 50mm 1.4 lens... which I may marry if it ever becomes legal to do so, this thing is fantastic.  It's solely manual focus, so its pretty tough some times but absolutely worth it. Plus it has an aperture ring. I took a few more selfies than I'm proud of.

Ticker's house

Eric was in town from Hawaii today, brought his girlfriend and lovely daughter Audrey (who I cannot take enough pictures of) This girl poses nonstop. I think the candids are better though. 

P.S. Granny doesn't like when I take her picture, but I had to. Her face and hands are so detailed.
